The Rag Place is America’s largest sewing facility dedicated to the motion picture and entertainment industry. We have two large production floors which allow us to effectively and efficiently manage all projects, big or small.
We answer to Hollywood’s most challenging projects: When we were contacted by DreamWorks to create and custom sew over 200,000 square feet of fabric for their “Terminal” project, we embarked on an elaborate Ultrabounce® structure to create an airport terminal. In 2012, we brought Cinco de Mayo's 150th Anniversary in Puebla, Mexico to life with Ultrabounce®.
When Ueli Steiger, ASC, the DP on the “Day After Tomorrow” requested a color correction fabric that also diffused light, we answered his call with our very own trademark Gelfab®, which had worked on other large features, including “Jurassic Park”.
We look forward to assisting you with your custom project; what you imagine, we can create!
