Grid Cloth
Grid cloth comes in Full, Half (Lite) and
Quarter densities. These extremely durable yet lightweight
fabric is available
in both “Silent” and Noisy, the most popular by
far being the “Silent” type, ideal for outdoor
filming where wind might create sound issues. The Full densities
come in 60” (1.52m) rolls, the Half in 65” (1.65m)
and the Quarter comes in 72” (1.82m) as a raw fabric,
or made to order finished rag in any size for sale, or for
rental from a huge variety of stock and custom sizes.

Silks
China Silk: Often referred to as “Half Silk,” this
lightweight, slightly translucent natural silk fabric is used
for medium diffusion. This silk drapes beautifully and is offered
in
warm white and black only in 45” wide(1.14m) as a raw
fabric, or made to order finished rag in any size for sale,
or for rental from a huge variety of stock and custom sizes.

Half Silk: This fabric is a poly version
of “China Silk,” It
has a similar density as the natural fiber. This silk drapes
beautifully and is offered in white at 45” width (1.14m)
Polysilk: Known as Full Silk in the film
business. This man-made fabric is denser and softens and
spreads the light more than
the “China”. Black and white Polysilk is available
in 60” (1.52m), and 130” (3.30m).
Quarter Silk: This lightweight fabric offers
a very thin diffusion, just to knock the edge off. Available
in 118” (2.99m) widths in black and white.
Muslins
Ideal for cycloramas, large painted backings and
ceiling flats, it is commonly used as a lighting medium. It
may be used both
for bouncing where it gives off a soft light without any hot
spot, or, as a very soft diffusion material. Our heavyweight
muslin is offered in “Bleached” and “Unbleached” (natural)
and is available in a variety of seamless widths; 9’ (2.74m),
12’ (3.65m), 20’ (6.09m), 33’ (10.05m) and
39.5’ (12.03m) as a raw fabric, or made to order finished
rag in any size for sale, or for rental from a huge variety
of stock and custom sizes.

Frosts / Hi-Lite
Full Soft Frost: This frosted vinyl product
offers a light soft glow and holds its diffusion properties
even when wet,
making it perfect for wet weather applications. In 72” (182.88cm)
wide as rolled fabric, or finished rags in any size for sale,
or for rental from a large variety of stock and custom sizes.
Half Soft Frost: Just like its denser cousin,
this vinyl product is a lighter density for a less soft glow.
Available in two
widths; 48” (121.9cm) or 96”(243.84cm) by the yard.

Hi Lite: Similar to the Soft Frosts, this
vinyl product is even lighter, and has the least dense diffusion,
similar to
a cross between Hampshire Frost and Opal, yet unlike these
plastic diffusions quieter in wind, and so perfect for use
on camera cars. Available in 78” (198.1cm) wide as rolled
fabric, or finished rags in any size for sale, or for rental
from a large variety of stock and custom sizes.
