Orders can be placed by phone, fax, email, or postal mail. Orders
have no validity until confirmed by The Rag Place, Inc.
- Stock items are offered “Subject to Prior Sale” until
order has been confirmed by us.

Payment (Domestic)

MasterCard, VISA, or American Express cards accepted.

Delivery orders are prepared only with the guarantee of a credit
card.

We accept company checks only. Personal checks are not accepted.
Check clearance is required prior to shipment release.

Returned company checks will incur a $25 bank and processing
fee.

Custom fabrication and special orders require a non-refundable
credit card deposit.

Open accounts may be established prior to shipping by submitting
a Credit Application for review.

Sales tax is assessed for all shipments within California unless
a valid resale card has been received.

Sorry, we are unable to ship C.O.D.
Payment (International)

All payments must be effected in U.S. Dollars. Company checks
must be drawn on a U.S. Bank and clear prior to shipment release.

Wire Transfer payment required unless otherwise agreed.

A $50 wire transfer fee per transaction will be added to all
orders under US$4,000.00.

Custom fabrication and special orders require advance payment
in full.
Shipping (Domestic)

All shipments are made freight prepaid, unless other arrangements
have been made prior to shipping.

We shall not be responsible for the performance of any transportation
company or freight forwarder, including shipping charges, which
shall be borne by the customer.
Shipping (International)

All shipments shall be ex-works, The Rag Place, Inc. Incoterms
2000, or most recent edition, applies
- Duties & Taxes: For orders less than US$1,000.00, duties
and taxes may be billed to customer’s FedEx account
number. Note: All FedEx shipping charges must be prepaid.

We shall not be responsible for the performance of any transportation
company or freight forwarder, including shipping charges, which
shall be borne by the customer.
Returns
-
A Return Authorization (RA) must be obtained prior to return
of merchandise.
-
No returns accepted on cut merchandise, special orders, or
custom fabricated items.

Returnable (unused and unaltered) goods shall incur a 25% restocking
charge.

No returns accepted on international transactions. All foreign
sales are final.

All sold merchandise not claimed within thirty (30) days
will be disposed of, unless prior arrangements have been
made, and accepted in writing by The Rag Place, Inc.
Choice of Law and Venue
This Agreement is entered into in the
Los Angeles County, State of California and shall be governed
by and construed in accordance
with the laws of the State of California. Each party to
these terms and conditions submits to the exclusive jurisdiction
of the state and federal courts situated in Los Angeles
County,
State of California and hereby waives any jurisdictional,
venue, or inconvenient forum objections to such courts.
